Portraying 2019 Princess Pocahontas is Judith Marie Santos

Judith Marie Santos is honored to portray Princess Pocahontas for the Court of 2019.  Judith is following a family tradition.  Along with numerous family members, Judith’s mother was presented in the Court of 1985 and her older sisters were also presented in the Courts of 2011 and 2016.  Judith’s great – great – great grandfather Eugene Christian was a founding member of the Order of the Red Man Yaqui Tribe #59 which later became the Washington’s Birthday Celebration Association.

Judith is a senior at J.B. Alexander High School where is Student Council President, Class of 2019 Vice-President, and a member of National Honor Society, Meet in the Middle, and BETA Club.  Judith is currently a Healthy South Texas Youth Ambassador for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.  When not actively participating in school activities, Judith enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and beloved pets.

Judith plans to attend Baylor University of Texas or Louisiana State University where she will pursue a degree in Biology.  She hopes to one day be a pediatric nurse.

Judith is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mario Santos III.
