LAREDO, TX – The Washington’s Birthday Celebration Association (WBCA) Pipes & Stripes Car Show Sponsored by VitalMed Urgent Care started its engines on Saturday, February 15 at the El Metro Park & Ride (corner of Thomas and Hillside Rd.) from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. The Car Show had a record-breaking attendance of over 4,500 spectators who enjoyed over 190 entries.

Car and truck enthusiasts rejoiced in this new fairly addition to the best celebration in South Texas. They were invited to come down and show off their pride and joy, and competed for trophies. The car show featured classic, custom or restored vehicles for car lovers to share in others’ prized possessions.

Winners of the WBCA Pipes & Stripes Car Show Sponsored by VitalMed Urgent Care are also eligible to participate in the Anheuser-Busch Washington’s Birthday Parade. This event was possible with the assistance of the Outsiders Hot Rod & Vintage Car Club and Z93/Guerra Communications. Admission was free for spectators.
