Peyton Bruni Wetsel
is the nine-year-old son of Brandon and Lilia Wetsel.
He is the grandson of (the late) Ernest Bruni Jr. and Mrs. Linda Bruni, a former WBCA Board Member and past Board President of the Society of Martha Washington. Both Ernest and Linda Bruni portrayed Martha and George in 1995.
Peyton has a seven-year-old sister, Taylor Rae. Peyton, a fourth-grade student at United Day, is passionate about football, golf and tennis. He also loves spending time at his family ranch shooting his shotgun and fishing with his dad. He is an avid collector of cars, trains, and dinosaurs.
Peyton is eager to continue his family’s longstanding tradition of civic involvement and service to the Laredo community. His mother, Lilia, is an active member of IGNC and serves on four (4) other boards throughout the community. She was also a Society of Martha Washington debutante in 1998 with our 2027 Abrazo Child, Lily Fuentes’ mother, Claudia. Both his mother (Lilia) and father (Brandon) are members of WBCA.
Peyton is honored to follow his family’s footsteps by representing the United States as a 2026-2027 Abrazo Child.
Liliana Judith Fuentes
The daughter of Mr. Jaime O. Fuentes and Mrs. Claudia G. Fuentes, is a third-grade student at Mary Help of Christians School.
Liliana is energetic, multi-talented and dedicated to helping her community. At her school, she joined the Marian Service Club, a student organization focused on spiritual growth, school masses, and community volunteer work rooted in the Salesian tradition.
She also loves to go horseback riding, likes to roller-skate, and is enthusiastic about arts & crafts, painting, video games and, of course, spending time with her family and friends at the beloved Asino Ranch.
Liliana continues a family tradition of civic involvement and service to the community. Her father, Jaime O. Fuentes, served as the 2025-2026 President of WBCA, is a current member of the WBCA Executive Committee, and has been volunteering with the organization for over 25 years.
Lily’s mother, Claudia G. Fuentes, was presented as a Society of Martha Washington Debutante in 1998; and, her maternal grandmother, Gretel Garza-Gongora, also served as a volunteer and Society of Martha Washington Board Member for several years.
Liliana is thrilled to follow in her family’s footsteps and to be part of a family legacy rooted in tradition, leadership, and cultural pride.
As the 2027 Abrazo Child representing the United States, Liliana Judith Fuentes is honored to symbolize friendship, unity, and goodwill. She looks forward to sharing this meaningful experience with her family and her community.
